my friend just did 2 systems with the Alpine and although its more expensive it does have one great feature which is the fact that you get all the stuff you need without all the little black boxes. It should also interface well with the other alpine stuff you have. I have also heard from sources in the industry that they are having less returns with the alpine over clarion. and have seen over higher quality. I would say look into them for yourself in person. From the stuff i have watched on my friend's alpine it looks great.
